Each house of worship

House. Please contract your house of worship to get involved to support
their build efforts.
Additional build days are available through Boston Habitat.

| Building Update |
Look out Needham, it's finally happening. After many years of prayer and
planning, this year the Needham House will become a reality.
This spring we have completed the purchase of the lot and we have begun to
build our first Habitat for Humanity home. Please drive by and check out our
progress over the coming year.

| Family Selection Update |
The Family Selection Committee introduced our family at the Groundbreaking Ceremony (see article on this page). They are Manuel and Yocayra Fernandez.
This timing will allow the family to participate in the build process and
fulfill their sweat equity commitment. |

House Plans Available.
The image above alternates between a recent photo and the architect's rendering for the home at 5 Bancroft St. being built by NIH and our affiliate Greater Boston Habitat;
it was developed through the hard work of the Greater Boston Habitat construction committee with leadership provided by Norberto Leon, R.A.

The house's dimensions and elevations fit well on the lot.
Needham Interfaith Habitat will build a 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home of approximately 1300
square feet, an “entry level” home into the Boston suburban housing market.
Habitat Closes on Bancroft Property
| This spring we have finally concluded the Purchase and Sale agreement with Needham.
The property is now ours and we can begin our construction plans.
This agreement was officially concluded in early April.
The signing of this agreement along with the grant of our building permit allows us to begin building the Needham House.
We would like to extend a special thanks to Allison Driscoll, Stephen Nolan, Dave Tobin, Kate Fitzpatrick , Rich Gatto, Lark Palermo and all the Town Selectmen.
This agreement would not be possible without their efforts, contributions and participation.
Dig out those nail belts and hammers, it will soon be time to build!
